Introduction
The programme's overall aim is to enable participants to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to undertake training activities in organisations. The programme encompasses the development of competencies that will enable learners to identify and assess training needs, to develop, plan, organise, deliver and evaluate relevant training activities for individuals and groups. A range of learning methods and approaches will promote the practical application of the theoretical concepts covered.

- individuals who are interested in training and development and wish to explore it as a career option.
- Individuals are responsible for the in-house design and delivery of training programmes in organisations that wish to gain a formal qualification in training and development.
- Managers and team leaders who want to learn about training and development in their business sectors.
- Adult learners who are interested in commissioning or designing training as part of community development projects.
