Medical assistant students will learn proper telephone etiquette, how to greet patients, proper charting and filing techniques, insurance processing, word processing, email, appointment scheduling and handling patients from the check-in process through the exam. Medical assistant students will be prepared to work in hospitals, physician’s offices, ambulatory service facilities and clinics.
Students will learn computer office management through the use of the computers and various programs, develop leadership skills, and personnel management. Our objective is for each student to develop leadership skills, and program use.
The objective of this program is to develop extraordinary skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access and VBA for the solution of problems of great magnitude and complexity in businesses that require the integration of spreadsheets, databases and automation.
