The Aircraft Dispatcher is a licensed airman certificated by a Civil Aviation Administration. He/She has joint responsibility with the captain for the safety and operational control of flights under his/her guidance. To achieve best economics practices, passengers service and operational control, the Flight dispatcher analyses and evaluates meteorological information to determine potential hazards to safety of flight and to select the most desirable and economical route of flight, computes the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to type of aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance, limitations, weather conditions and minimum fuel requirements prescribed by aviation regulations.... This programme is designed to meet the requirements for a flight crew position with European Airline and to work as a pilot on American registered aircraft.
Upon graduation, you will be qualified with at least:
EASA CPL commercial pilot’s license and Instrument Rating
EASA ATPL theory
EASA MCC Airbus A320 (Multi Crew Cooperation) course
FCL 1.055 English Proficiency test
FAA commercial and instrument rating qualifications.
The program can be completed in 18 months. It offers flexibility during training by allowing students who already hold an EASA PPL to join the program and receive a discount.
