The Santiago Canyon College (SCC) English Language Program (ELP) is an intensive English program designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced level international (F-1) students looking to improve their English skills in preparation for study at U.S. colleges and universities. The program is designed for students who have some knowledge of English.
The ELP is both a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)-preparatory and academically oriented. These classes are offered through a 16-week semester (Fall & Spring semesters), and an 8-week session (Summer session). Each session consists of 20 hours of instruction per week.
International students are provided with opportunities to interact with SCC students by participating in Conversation Partners activities. Speech workshops are provided and integrated into the ELP curriculum....

There are four levels of the Intensive English Program (IEP), held in eight-week sessions. There are two eight-week sessions each Fall and Spring semester, and one eight-week session in the Summer semester. Each session of the IEP costs $2,200 U.S. dollars.
Upon successful completion of the Intensive English Program, International students are eligible for admission to an academic program, once all other admissions requirements have been met.
