There are many aspects to starting a business from coming up with ideas, evaluating them, planning a business start-up, launching and then running a business. You often have to deal with a lack of finance, perhaps insufficient experience and many other issues. You have to decide how to design your product, how to differentiate your business from competitors, and how to hire and manage staff. Whether you’re thinking of starting a business or you’re studying business at a university, you will surely find this course highly useful and practical. Description There are many aspects to starting a business from coming up with ideas, evaluating them, planning a business start-up, launching and then running a business. This course gives a comprehensive overview of all of these and dives deeper into the following aspects: Entrepreneurship IdeaAnalyzing ysing a Sector Types of Business Models Screening Opportunities Getting Clients Business Plans Financing a Business Exit Plans / Harvesting Getting From Idea To Launch Entrepreneurial Challenges Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 14:00 Credits: You will receive an official Certificate of Attendance upon completion of your course. The student is eligible to receive up to 5 ECTS credits, however, please follow the instructions here and consult the acknowledgment process with your university in advance Price: Course fee includes the application fee, study materials, and afternoon/evening social activities and events, welcome and goodbye drink. Skills Instead of going back to standard case studies from Microsoft and GE, this course looks at various small businesses in large and small markets in order to uncover the fundamentals that every entrepreneur or small business owner needs to know. Through examinations of key strategic decisions taken at a number of real, successful small businesses, the learners will be creating a solid foundation for further studies in business or will be able to apply these insights directly to their own budding business ventures Prerequisites B1 CEF absolute minimum, B2 and above strongly recommended For students enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s course or students wishing to start their own businesses.A laptop will be needed.
