Introduction
T-Levels are new two-year courses which follow GCSEs and are equivalent to three A-Levels. They combine classroom theory, practical learning and a 315-hour (45 days) industry placement to give students real experience of the workplace. The T-Level Health Specialist Pathways are: Supporting the Care of Children and Young people, Supporting the Theatre team, Supporting the Midwifery Team, Supporting the Therapy, Supporting the Adult Nursing Team, Supporting the Mental Health TeamThe T-Level Science Specialist Pathways are: Laboratory SciencesLakes College has state of the art facilities and a range of specialist teachers in this chosen course. T-Levels are primarily designed to accelerate progression to Higher Apprenticeships, Higher Education and/or Degree Apprenticeships pathways.
