Introduction
You will study a wide range of traditional and digital skills and techniques, including drawing, painting, 3D, printmaking, book arts and illustration, delivered by an experienced art and design team. You will benefit from ample contact time with specialist staff, small studio sizes and industry-standard equipment.
Complementing the practical work is a programme of workshops, lectures, visiting speakers, live projects and work-based experience, encouraging you to grow as an artist who can demonstrate the skills and original, critical thinking that employers need.
The programme of study has been developed by professionals who have held senior posts at national creative companies and have also worked for high calibre regional employers in the creative sector. It is taught by an experienced teaching team who are all practising creatives in their own rights, enabling students to receive the relevant knowledge and expertise needed in today’s fast-paced creative industries.
