Level 2 AAT Introduction to Accountancy Certificate Eastleigh College

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is an internationally recognised professional body. The purpose of the Foundation Certificate in Accounting is to offer the foundation accounting knowledge needed to progress to employment, further study or apprenticeship in accountancy and finance. The broader focus of the Certificate enhances employability and can lead to employment as:

• accounts administrator

• accounts assistant

• payroll assistant

• purchase/sales ledger clerk

• trainee accounting technician

• trainee finance assistant

The accountancy and finance knowledge developed in this qualification is also the underpinning knowledge needed for the higher-level accountancy and financial skills developed in the Advanced and Professional AAT accounting qualifications.
