Introduction
“Cross-Sectoral Digital Circular Economy Training and Business Development (CircularDev)”, an innovative master summer school designed to provide master students and professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful entrepreneurs in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on circular economy and sustainability.
This EITM CircularDev Summer School offers a unique opportunity to develop your innovation and entrepreneurship skills in an international setting and provides participants with a stimulating learning-by-doing experience, particularly on circular economy and sustainability topics. The program will be held in the vibrant city of Dublin, at the University College Dublin (UCD), will be organized by UCD, Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) and Mondragon University, and will feature experts from Ireland, France, Germany and Spain.
Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge concepts, tools, and methods in the circular economy, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability. They will work with innovation experts and companies, as well as engage with international lecturers who will provide state-of-the-art knowledge on circular economy and sustainability best practices, and how to apply them in the manufacturing industry.
By participating in this program, individuals will have the opportunity to broaden their network with potential European partners and gain a competitive edge in the industry, while also developing an understanding of the importance of circular economy and sustainability in the manufacturing industry.
The program is designed to be hands-on and interactive, with participants working in teams to develop and pitch sustainable solutions to real-world industrial challenges. The program culminates in a final prize-giving ceremony at the end of the program, where teams will pitch their solutions and be evaluated by a panel of experts.

Curriculum
Programme Structure
Please note: The full programme takes 3 weeks (2 weeks onsite and 1-week online split into two sessions at the beginning and at the end of the program)
You can choose if attend the full programme with the 2 weeks onsite or just a partial programme made of 1 week on site of your choice and 1 week online. The weekly programme is self-contained, so you don’t need previous experience to join the second week on site of the programme. You can choose your best option during the application.
The CircularDev EIT Manufacturing Summer School program is structured to provide a comprehensive and impactful learning experience for participants. The program runs for a 3 week period (including 2 weeks in Dublin and 1 week online) and features a dynamic schedule that alternates between various types of learning experiences, including company visits, lectures, and workshops on key topics in the innovation and entrepreneurship fields, with a specific focus on circular economy.
To ensure that all participants can fully engage in and successfully complete the proposed activities, digital nuggets on the basics of innovation and entrepreneurship, and circular economy will be made available before the start of the summer school. Online serious games are also included in the program after the 2 weeks in Dublin.

Company visits are organized in Ireland (transport from UCD to the sites is organized by the summer school organization)
Program Outcome
The participants will receive a UCD certificate of 5 ECTS and a participation certificate.
