Introduction

The Chair of Basics of media design deals with elementary dimensions of media design - color, shape, surface, geometry, material, movement, representation / composition and aspects of perception. Learning through experience is in the form of design-experimental study in foreground.

It finds its continuation on policy issues arising out of advanced media and design practice and the lead part in relevant research and development approaches and projects.
