Introduction

Heartland's curriculum draws on global examples and focuses on humans' development about their physical and social environment. You'll explore the broad variations of cultural expressions as well as their common characteristics.
The courses offered are Introduction to Cultural Anthropology and Introduction to General Anthropology. Studying anthropology provides you with the global information and thinking skills critical to succeeding in the 21st century in business, research, foreign language, teaching, advocacy, and public service.
