Introduction
Participants must be members of a paid or volunteer fire department. Technical skill training and certifications are offered through fire departments. Once the required training and certifications are acquired, fire service technology credits can be transcripted. Students then complete the General Education Core classes and apply for an A.A.S. degree in Fire Service Technology. See the program plan area for the major requirements.
Completion of a Technical Skill Assessment is required.
