Introduction
Computer Science is designed for students who wish to enter the multifaceted field of computers with an emphasis in fundamental principles in the applications of computer technology and the theory of computing.
Graduates of the AAS degree will be well prepared for both industry employment or will be prepared for the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. For students whose goal is to transfer, the student must learn in advance the particular requirements of the intended school or university and seek advisement from the STEM Department.
