Additional program details: Biomedical electronic equipment, such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, anesthesia machines and X-ray equipment, are some of the devices covered. Computer network skills are also desired.
An internship for eight hours per day, one day a week, for two semesters provides hands-on experience and a potential reference for employment upon graduation. Normal vision; good manual dexterity; and the ability to push, pull or lift 50 pounds are required. Contact the program instructor/advisor for details.
