Introduction
The Associate of Science (AS) - Biology degree is intended for students to transfer to a four-year college or university to major in biology and/or biology-related fields. As a biology major, students will develop a comprehensive foundation of the principles that underlie the science of living things from the cellular to the ecosystem level. The AS degree differs from the Associate of Arts (AA) degree in mathematics and science coursework required.
