Introduction
This is an ideal introductory course for those who want to start their career in Child Care or those who want to be qualified as a Child Care Educator. During the course, students will gain a sound understanding of learning frameworks to provide a range of education and care for children that required to work as an assistant.
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CRICOS code 092362A) comprises 18 units of competency. New Era Institute has organised these competency units into 7 clusters relating to shared skills and knowledge or shared work tasks. This results in the efficient delivery of training and assessment and a very logical structure for students.
To be issued the qualification CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, a student must be assessed as competent in 18 units of competency and completed 260 hours of work placement in a childcare centre (mandatory). These units of competency are comprised of 15 core units and 3 elective units.
