Introduction
This course will suit learners who have completed a Level 3 Foundation Diploma or equivalent, such as a BTEC Extended Diploma. It will act as a bridging course for those not quite ready for higher education, your portfolio needs updating, or you haven't quite reached the standards needed for the university course you want to apply for.
You may also not want to go onto a degree course but wish to expand your skills to make your move into the industry.
The course's focus is to develop your design skills further, building substantial work through project work, sketchbooks, and a comprehensive portfolio. You will be taught technical lessons to give you the skills to make up your own designs.
