Introduction
Level 2 Certificates are vocational qualifications which focus on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the Beauty industry. They are a stepping stone to a higher-level qualification such as VRQ Diplomas, Technical Diplomas and NVQs. HABIA, the standard setting body for Hair and Beauty, has approved them, and the awarding body City & Guilds provides the qualification.
For learners who just fall short of the Level 2 entry requirements, we offer an introduction to Beauty Therapy through a Skills & Employability pathway. This qualification is a support role within a commercial beauty type environment and includes a variety of basic beauty skills such as facials, manicure & nail treatments and make up. This qualification will prepare learners for progression to Level 2 Beauty, Make Up and Nails.
