International Summer Program: Animation à la française

6th – 30th June 2017

France is the third largest animation producer in the world, and Europe’s biggest, and Supinfocom Rubika has stood up throughout the years as one of the top 4 Animation Schools in the world, bringing multiple award winning student animations every year. In 2016, the animation « La Legende du Crabe Phare » was awarded the Siggraph award as best student project.

You can now join our school for a four-week summer program specialized in Animation, where you’ll be developing a character and making it come to life in 3D modeling. You will be tutored by professionals in animation, who will be able to transmit the “French touch” of their specific fields.

The program will take students in a journey through French animation by following three modules:

  • Character Design
  • Layout design for animation
  • 3D modeling

Who can participate?

This program offers a set of intensive courses specifically designed for undergraduate students from digital art, animation or related majors.

Pre-requirements: students should have previous experience, even if basic, in character animation and storytelling. Notions of Drawing, sketching, rendering, as well as Adobe Suite, Maya or similar are required to best benefit of the courses.
