Avicenna International College

Introduction

Avicenna International College (AIC) started its activities in 1995 by providing short courses for medical students studying in Budapest at Semmelweis University. Later a complete one-year pre-university program was designed for those who planned to complete their studies in any medically related field in Hungary. This course was named “Avicenna Medical Foundation Program” or AMFP. Today, those students who complete AMFP with good scores are admitted to many European universities with medical programs in English, including in Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lituania, Latvia, UK, Serbia, and Russia among other countries.
