Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology - Rotorua and Tauranga Regions
Being situated in a region of natural beauty provides plenty of opportunities to wind down, or up, depending on your adrenalin needs. Some of these activities include mountain biking, whitewater and flatwater kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, surfing, fishing, soaking in hot pools, and bungy jumping.
We have a diverse student population with students from many places such as India, South America, Japan, China, Fiji, Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka and more. The friendly, caring, professional staff in our international student centres speak a number of languages, provide excellent pastoral care, and assist international students throughout their studies with us.
We seek to be a welcoming and caring institution which reflects manaakitanga and whānaungatanga. A place where people are valued as individuals and their strengths are found and encouraged whatever their background.
Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology has six main campuses. Mokoia and Windermere campuses are our largest centres. Mokoia Campus is in Rotorua and Windermere is located in Tauranga. We also have campuses in Taupo, Tokoroa and Whakatane.
Some qualifications such as computing, are also taught from additional locations in the central business district of Rotorua. Nursing is taught at our Windermere Campus in Tauranga.
All our campuses provide creative and challenging learning opportunities. However, it is important to think about what you want academically, socially and geographically when choosing the right campus for you.
